Bar carts have made a comeback, and I’m definitely a fan. I only brought home a new one, and I’m doing my research on the best way best to get it stocked and ready to amuse. There are a million ways you can dress up a pub cart, but whatever your style, do not forget the fundamentals. Here’s a little collection of my favourite finds so much — I’m loving the new twists on traditional barware and decor. Cheers! — Chelsea out of Lovely Really
Poketo
Poketo Brass Bottle Opener – $40
I have completely fallen for these trendy brass bottle openers from Poketo. When you are not using these to open bottles, let them perform double duty as decor on your bar cart.
Yolk
Best Year Wine Stoppers – $15
Cork your wine with your zodiac sign. These mad wine stoppers are so, so fun. Get the entire year you were born, or just your favourite animal. Mine would be the rooster, for certain.
CB2
Cylinder Flute – $1.95
For a departure from the traditional, I think these sleek champagne flutes fit the bill. They’d look gorgeous all lined up on a pub cart or housing gear like swizzle sticks.
ModCloth
Trail Mix It Up Bowl – $54.99
There is simply no way I’m likely to be able to resist this cute nut bowl! I dare you to put this on a pub cart rather than have your guests fawn over it.
Society Social
The Draper End Table, Natural Ostrich – $289
For my money, the coolest place to shop for pub carts right now is Society Social. I love The Draper, a simple, chic table that you can customize with faux croc, ostrich or python upholstery.
Modern Artwork – $40
Do not forget some artwork to hang around your cart! Mad Men–related or not, I’m absolutely in love with this print.
DwellStudio
Gold Ribbons Drinking Glass – $63
These Gold Ribbons glasses from DwellStudio will add a lot of glow — and course — to your cart. I would love sipping from these rather than a plain old stone glass.
LEIF
Spear Printing Tray – $80
This Spear Printing tray is too fabulous to pass up! Use it to display glassware or arrange garnishes, or just put it on your cart and then let people”ooh” and”aah” over it.
Jonathan Adler
Capuchine Decanter – $168
If you like wine as much as I do, then consider putting a trendy decanter on your cart. This entertaining Capuchine decanter out of Jonathan Adler covers shape and function all in one!
Cost Plus World Market
Amber Mombasa Napkins
Have some napkins useful to clean up any stray drops. I’m loving the colour and pattern combinations in this (very affordable) set of four.
Crate&Barrel
Hexa Stacking Wine Rack – $44.95
If your cart doesn’t have an integrated wine rack, catch this one from Crate & Barrel. I love the hexagon pattern.
Barnes & Noble
Mrs. Lilien’s Cocktail Swatchbook – $14.99
If you are not a genius with a mixer, then catch this brilliant cocktail book. It’ll make mixing a breeze, as well as the colours and images are just to die for. I can’t wait to catch one for myself.
Whisk
Paper Straws, Polka Blue – $6
If you’ve got beverages that need sipping, pop in some adorable paper straws. You see a lot of stripes, but I really like these little polka dots — only a bit more unusual.
UncommonGoods
Gessato Glass Pitcher – $180
My second batch of margaritas is going into this guy. It will also look great nestled onto a pub cart while it’s waiting to perform its job.
Trina Turk
Caprice Ice Bucket – $58
What is a pub cart without an ice bucket? Trina Turk has some gorgeous choices, but I particularly love the colours on this one.
Couture Lab
Capa Tongs – GBP 128
If you’ve got an ice bucket, then don’t forget the tongs. Is not this place glamorous? I love the irregular stripes on the handles.
TwentyOne7
Hoshi Table Lamp – $195
Should you need just a tiny light on your area, a pub cart is the best location for a table lamp. I really like the texture and colour here that green is so refreshing and happy.
Anthropologie
Celestial Coaster Set, Violet – $32
Include some coasters that are bordering on artwork. These Celestial coasters are so, so pretty.
Amazon
Square Hermetic Bottle
These hermetic bottles can be so convenient on a pub cart! Utilize them to pre-mix batches of your favourite drink for a celebration, or provide a concoction as a hostess gift. Keep them lined up on your pub cart for a pretty touch.
